College Credit

Overview

The majority of Dragons programs offer optional college credit for an additional fee. The experiences you have on our programs are at the center of these college courses. Credit is earned through the University of Montana (UM). 

Eligibility

• Participants 17 years or older at the time of program start
• Participants can be currently enrolled in high school, recently graduated, or enrolled in college/university
• College courses available on:
  • all international Gap Semesters
  •  all 4 or 6 week international Summer Programs

Course Offerings

Courses offered through UM are on a range of topics and are available on the majority of our programs. Click here to view Course Descriptions*.  Students can register for: 

• Summer or Semester (5+ weeks in length): 1-2 courses, earning up to 6 semester-credits 
• Summer (3 or 4 weeks in length): 1 course, earning 3 semester-credits

How to Register

1. Decide on courses
2. Submit a Course Registration Form: University of Montana Form
3. Pay the Registration Fee (added to MyDragons after Registration Form received)

Fees and Deadlines

The Course Registration fee for UM courses is $2,000. The fee is the same whether you enroll in one or multiple courses. Registration deadlines are: 

• Fall Semester: August 25
• Spring Semester: January 25
• Summer Term: May 25
