Bobby Murphy

Growing up between the suburbs of Boston and the mountains of New Hampshire, Bobby has always sought to balance city life with the stillness of nature. As a result, he’s just as comfortable navigating the chaos of Mexico City as he is chopping wood on a farm in the Andes.

Bobby’s professional life has mainly been focused around experiential education abroad. He has worked with several organizations leading and developing programs in Central America, South America, and Southeast Asia. Through this work, he has been lucky enough to partner and form relationships with various grassroots organizations working on issues like food sovereignty, land defense, and immigration.

Most recently, he was farming on the coast of California, where he also completed a Permaculture Design Certificate. In his free time he explores a wide variety of hobbies, including photography, ceramics, woodblock printing, contact improv, yoga, and the guitar.
