I went on the Six Week China Mandarin Intensive this past summer, I learned so much about Chinese culture, language, food, and government. While I was on my trip I studied tea culture which is something I am very passionate about! Dragons helped me to get a completely new perspective on the world and where I live as it is seen from abroad.”

Make every second count! Try to ask as many questions as you can, and try to dive as deep into every little experience as possible. Go into the trip with no expectations about the country or the trip and you will be delighted and awestruck at every turn. Try to really buy in and experience every aspect of the program.
REASONS TO LOVE CHINA…
Something we often don’t realize as Americans is that our culture and way of life is not standard, and that there are places were things are done very differently. One of those places is China which is something I find truly wonderful about the country. Another reason to love China is the abundant (and often aggressive) hospitality of nearly all the people you will meet there.
THE CRAZIEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE IS…
Going on a six week language program in China without knowing one word of Chinese!
