Global Issues
Dragons core curriculum engages global environmental health and equitable access to shared resources.
One of our goals is to communicate the needs and realities of the Global South to those who live in the Global North. We take a critical eye on resource limitations, population pressures and development needs – all of which are increasingly stressed with climate change. With a carefully curated curriculum that explores topics in development, we ask what it means to be developed. We delve into sustainability issues, exploring countries through the lens of cultural and biological diversity and conservation. And in each Educator Program, we introduce participants to the issues that the people of the country self-identify as being most critical to their quality of life.
