Anvesh Singh Thapa

Anvesh’s first passion is rivers. An avid kayaker and rafter, he has spent the last 20 years on whitewater throughout the world. His guiding work has inspired him to educate others on how to protect the places they visit, and his river company, Expeditions India, reflects the same values.

In more recent years, Anvesh has focused on sharing his river skills and working in experiential education. A seasoned instructor with National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Anvesh leads custom courses for Where There Be Dragons in India. He enjoys sharing his love of his country and the outdoors with young people. Just like on his river trips, Anvesh’s passion and energy flow through every student trip he guides.
