Soon after this experience, he moved to China to study traditional healing and martial arts. From 2000 to 2004, Kai apprenticed with Chinese and Taiwanese doctors who specialized in treating “terminal illnesses”. He has also worked to develop and implement Emotional Intelligence curricula for schools in China and Taiwan. Currently he leads workshops in Chinese Medicine and healing throughout the country and has established his own retreat center and professional programming in Western Yunnan.
