Senghong Yourk

B.A in International Relations from Royal University of Law and Economics
M.Ed. International and Comparative Education from Stockholm University
Senghong grew up in a small village near Kampong Chhnang and became the first and only member of his family to earn a university degree. He learned English through a mini-scholarship program supported by the U.S. Embassy and was selected for multiple exchange programs in the U.S. and across the region.
His deep passion for community development and equitable education led him to serve on a youth council with the U.S. Embassy in Cambodia, where he collaborated with government officials and NGOs on various initiatives to support Cambodian youth from diverse backgrounds. Professionally, Senghong has spent over six years in the educational travel industry, where he found his calling in guiding students to explore the meaning of travel and fostering deeper connections with the places they visit. He joined Dragons in 2024, bringing his expertise in experiential learning and community engagement to enrich students’ experiences. Beyond work, Senghong enjoys photography, American jazz music, and practicing his French.
