Sheng , born in Penghu, Taiwan, hails from a picturesque island renowned for its stunning coastal landscapes, pristine beaches, and vibrant marine life. However, witnessing the dramatic changes in the environment over time,sparked her interest in environmental issues.
Sheng enjoys adding diversity to her life. She studied Mass Communication in university and participated in a year-long exchange program in Austria. Afterward, she pursued Ethnomusicology and later spent two years on a working holiday in Australia. In 2018, Sheng took a Permaculture Design course and collaborated with a non-profit organization for several years.
Currently residing in Tainan, Sheng manages the ongoing renovations of her three-sided house, where she practices a sustainable lifestyle. Her home showcases natural building techniques, recycled materials, a diverse garden, ecological toilet, vermicomposting, animal systems, and rainwater harvesting experiments. By leading small workshops to continue engaging people in rural life, Sheng welcomes individuals from all walks of life into her community, viewing it as an opportunity to learn and communicate with diverse individuals.
On her 30th birthday, Sheng embarked on a 98-day island-wide trek, carrying her own waste to take responsibility for her actions and minimize her ecological footprint. She believes in reducing consumption and waste generation, turning various challenges into enriching experiences.
As a freelancer, Sheng pursues diverse interests, including photography, farming, badminton coaching, editing fan pages, and teaching, among others. In 2024, she began working with Dragons. She believes in the boundless possibilities of life and aims to share its beauty with the world.
