Tim Hare
B.A. Natural Resources Management, minor in Religious Studies, Colorado State University.
Tim calls the mountains of Colorado home, while having made a life for himself climbing, exploring, teaching, and learning throughout the mountains of the Americas. Before working with Dragons, Tim instructed mountaineering and rock climbing courses and lead instructor trainings for Outward Bound – teaching others how to travel safely through the wilds of Colorado, California, Washington, Alaska and Patagonia. Tim has extensively explored cultures and landscapes of the Central and Southern Andes, traveling the remote corners of Bolivia, Chile and Argentina – where he finds the harsh geographic reality infinitely inspiring. Tim is a passionate educator who believes that experiential education is a great tool for understanding our place in the world and learning to live a creative, compassionate and authentic life. With Dragons, Tim has instructed or supported courses in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Nepal and SE Asia. He lives in Boulder with his partner and two children.
